everse Opens Development Center in Shanghai, China

LOS ANGELES, January 1, 2003 – Today, everse corporation (everse), a technology consulting, software development, and application outsourcing company, announced the opening of its development center in Shanghai, China. Part of the Shanghai Pudong Software Park, the office is a key location in everse’s growing global solutions delivery infrastructure.

In addition to its corporate headquarters in Los Angeles and its new office in Shanghai, everse has an office in New York and another ramping up in Bangalore, India. Growing its facilities and operations around the globe will enable everse to increase its average revenue per employee and drive the evolution and refinement of its processes, increasing efficiency, productivity, and consistency.

By coordinating and synchronizing its multiple facilities, everse can maintain an extended delivery cycle, reducing costs and providing its high–quality solutions with faster time–to–market. everse’s off–shore operations will also be devoted to targeting consumer markets, establishing a research and development infrastructure dedicated to product development, and building a consumer–product wing of the company.

According to everse CEO James Sung, “Shanghai was a natural choice for our new development center. With China’s entry into the World Trade Organization, Shanghai’s already powerful manufacturing infrastructure, strategic skill sets, and fertile sales market are sure to play an even greater role in the world economy. We look forward to benefiting from that economic opportunity, growth, and prosperity through our new development center.“
